Beskrivelse
The battle for the soul of a country knows no boundaries. The son of a Turkish legislator comes to New Haven, Connecticut to study law. He is pursued by terrorists. If caught he will be held for ransom: his father's political influence which will help determine whether Turkey remains a secular democracy or moves closer to becoming an Islamic theocracy. It's up to Frank Kelly and his colleagues at Nutmeg Security and Investigation to protect the young man. They must do so while maintaining absolute secrecy. In order to prevent an international incident from developing, neither the F.B.I. nor Turkish intelligence agents can be allowed to interfere. In addition to his colleagues at Nutmeg, Frank is joined in his efforts by Professor Eve Karam, a former Sister of Mercy. An expert on the Abrahamic religions and the varieties of Islamic thought and practice, Professor Karam challenges Frank intellectually, emotionally, and intimately. As always, his Schutzhund trained German Shepherd, Ma Hergen's Boston Noir, is at Frank's side.
