As you overcome, you are as unique and rare as the Emperor Butterfly. You may have started out as an ugly caterpillar and have been reduced to mush, but through your struggle you are being transformed into a beautiful purple butterfly! A unique creation for all to see and enjoy! A Purple Emperor butterfly is native to Europe. It’s a rather rare butterfly and hard to find.

When caterpillar turn into butterflies, their old bodies are literally broken down into mush. Sometimes God brings us into a season where we are going through a transformation. Last year you were caterpillars, but this year you’re being transformed into butterflies.

Purple is also a very rare color found in nature because it’s incredibly hard to create. It’s the color of royalty. This speaks of how rare, unique, and treasured you are.

The Purple Emperor butterly is also unusual because instead of feeding off flowers, they feed on dead, rotting animals and other unpleasant things. While this doesn’t give the most beautiful imagery, God says that it is significant, because He says you have victory over the past and over deterioration. God is giving you the ability to gain strength from the past.

Yellow symbolizes the sun. God created you to bask in the warmth of His light and love. Soak it up—all that you can. You’re never asking for too much of His love! Blessings!
