The Uncoded World

In her preface she writes: "In addition to exploring the conception of an uncoded world, my primary interest in this writing is to bring the physical and oracular energies of the human body and eros (eros defined as a deep knowledge buried within the body) into the thought of the semiotic discipline". In the first sections of the book she sets forth a cascade of abstractions; the third section is "an allegory...intended to take the place of the earlier chapters -- it is a hermesemiosis of an uncoded world, which includes the articulation and synthesis of bodily sensations and perceptions within specific meanings of interpretive semiotic thought".
