Bodies of Work is a series that follows the lives of a group of friends and their families who are all, in their own way, fighting to break free from the grasp of their environment. Tori Watts is a street- savvy young lady who is determined not to become a statistic. A talented artist, she is literally creating a promising future for herself by applying to one of the most prestigious art schools in the country. But there is nothing prestigious about Tori's past. Both of her parents tragically passed away leaving her to be raised by her grandmother, who reveals little to no information about who they were and what happened to them.
