Three generations in the future, red skies boil with unbreathable air, black oceans surging over shores which no longer teem with life, and humans devise ways to escape the planet or their dying bodies. Electronic Life Forms, ELFs, have taken on the challenge to save humanity, even from itself. As hopes dim, an unspeakable truth is discovered. Kelly, an elite militarized ELF with unheard-of skills, strives to expose this secret but finds herself stymied by sinister forces engineering the massive deception. This is far more than a story of a dark future, it's the continuing story of a team of scientists who venture back in time to make subtle changes in history to avert the earth's environment from its path into the abyss.
