Without Excalibur, Fionna despairs of ransoming her father and sister before they are executed. All seems lost until Arthur strikes a bargain she can't refuse-join his Grail Quest. In exchange, he promises his aid to free her family.



Percival locks onto a strong hunch leading all five knights on a journey to the Kingdom of Alba, away from Caerleon and toward hope. The land is dying under the faerie curse on Arthur Pendragon and his realm. His people grow sick. Crops are withering to dust. But before Arthur, Galahad, Percival, Lancelot, and Fionna can reach the legendary Grail, they must first retrieve a key carved from the bones of a faerie boar, an adder stone, and the Grail Sword once belonging to the Fisher King.



Each knight's honor will be tested. And so will their entangling love for their fifth knight, Fionna Allán. Despite each trial, hope seems within their grasp, until they learn of a third curse. A revelation that may finally destroy everything and grant Morgan la Fay the power she craves over Caerleon and all of Briton.
