Beskrivelse
What we know as the Four Hundred Years of Silence, is the lapse of time between the end of the Old Testament, and the beginning of the New Testament. The gap between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament consists of approximately 400 years when no prophets were speaking to mankind. From a historical perspective, however, those 400 years were anything but silent. What happened during those 400 years? When we flip the page from the end of Malachi in the Old Testament, and begin reading Matthew in the New Testament, it seems as though we are reading a totally different book. The purpose of this book is to discuss the occurrences in Jewish life during the Four Hundred Years of Silence.
