The State's Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Current state of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities in the province of Santiago del Estero, in the light of the new social paradigm and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Inquiring whether the view of the new social paradigm is reflected in the drafting of laws and regulations, but warning that as any paradigm shift requires an effort not only institutional but also social, by all members that are part of society, an effort that also weighs on the political actors and which demands a positive attitude in the search for public action policies that enable a gradual change in the approach that was held at first about people with disabilities to a better situation of protection and protection of their rights.
