Ian Patrick Perling is a mild-mannered music fixer and personal manager to many of the top rock and roll, soft rock, and singer/songwriters of the past fifty years. He is friend to the biggest stars and local garage bands. He is also quite happily anonymous. For all the help he has been to friend and client alike he is completely unknown outside the professional music circles. Until Fate and Fame decide standing in the wings watching his friends is not what he deserves. They believe he deserves recognition and his own fame. They are completely wrong though Ian will have to suffer through their ministrations before all realize the truth of that.

The Sperling Chronicles is the journey of a man blithely enjoying life until two minor goddesses decide they should control the man's life. He seeks refuge from fame in London, New Orleans finally taking on a tour of a lifetime with friends and musicians. Fifty years of music and love go off in search of meaning, fun, and companionship
