Beskrivelse
This is a heartwarming nature series about a little boy who loves to explore the world around him. When Johnny's single mother is offered a chance to improve their lives, they move from the desert of West Texas to the West Coast fishing village, Fort Bragg, California. Just up the road from Johnny's new home, he discovers a scary looking dilapidated old house. There he finds an elderly, grumpy man who has a dog named Trouble. The man tries to scare Johnny away, but Johnny does not scare easily. Later in the series, Johnny goes back to visit the elderly man and realizes that something is very wrong. The man's dog is straining against its chain and barking wildly at the house. This series is about friendships and difficult decisions. It is also about family and how hard it is to move away from dear friends. Step into Johnny's world and follow him on his adventures where the wildlife and scenery comes vividly alive. This series is packed with action and drama, but most of all, it about people caring about and for one another. In this series you will find horned toads, rattlesnakes, raccoons, birds, ponies, fish, a slug, and a ghost, which are all a good mix for children with inquisitive minds
