The Titanic is one of the most famous ships in the world. It's history has been written about and countless films made about the disaster. However, the story of the working class that built the Ship Magnificent has been ignored and their losses are forgotten. The Riveters tells their story. The fatalities of the shipbuilders at a tumultuous time when Ireland itself was experiencing inequality much like the third class on the ship when she went down in 1912. Using factual history an anecdotes, The Riveters follows a family of shipbuilders fighting for recognition in Ireland and her independence, the loss of lives before the ship launched and the injustices they suffered.
