THE PROFESSIONALIZATION OF A LEGAL REFORM MECHANISM

Internal conflicts in sub-Saharan Africa increase the vulnerability of the population by multiplying acts of recurrent violence within communities. Thanks to its holistic approach, transitional justice makes it possible to set up legal mechanisms tailored to the specific needs of victims. With this in mind, the question arises Is transitional justice being grafted onto Mali's institutional structures?Transitional justice is an increasingly sought-after solution in the wake of security and/or political crises that give rise to serious and massive human rights violations. In Mali, this approach was encouraged following the outbreak of the dual security and political crisis of 2012.
