Beskrivelse

During the Last March of the Dead One, the members of House Dois brought their enemies, their allies, and even their own people into the path of the Rotting King, giving him the corpses he needed for his armies. The Great Betrayal changed the face of So'Var and the hatred for the members of House Dois, was cemented in history, causing one member to flee Theris and carve a small country out of the rugged landscape of Duri'pen. For over a century, Lord Dois has waited, watching the mountain passes of Duri'pen for something. Lord Dois has allowed his people to prosper, and along with it, Rose Bed. However, Lord Dois is beginning to realize that the time has finally come. Hedon, a trained Mage, earned his living as a Scribe for the Church of the Lady, the largest religion on So'Var, but when his brother, a Demon Escort, goes missing, Hedon's life changed. In his search, Hedon discovers that the last place his brother was seen alive, was in the country of Rose Bed. Now, Hedon is making his way to Duri'pen to confront one of the most hated men on So'Var, in a location that the Church of the Lady has no presence, and offers no protection. Hedon believes he is ready for what is coming, and is determined to get the answers he needs, but he soon learns that Rose Bed, has its own secrets.
