When Katja Heinz secures a job as a typist in Hamburg working for Doctor Viktor’s clinic, she doesn’t expect to be writing up top secret medical records.

Carefully typing out the notes and binding them in a leather book, Katja and Doctor Viktor head to Paris, seeking refuge in the Shakespeare and Company bookshop, whilst they attempt to find a publisher brave enough to print the controversial text.
