The Next Chapter is the story of a young Black man's journey through the deadly challenge of advanced colon cancer. With humor and transparency, Joe Greene paints a picture of the danger facing all of us, and especially the Black community, if the recommended age for colonoscopy isn't reduced to age 40 and even lower. Joe's saga takes the reader from the beginning of symptoms all the way through surgery and treatments to his establishing of ESSL (Early Screening Saves Lives). With cases dramatically on the rise, he is determined to make sure everyone not only understands the symptoms and risks but recognizes the benefits of early colonoscopy screening.
