Beskrivelse
This month the cold case unit has a special guest. Jeremy Harrison is a reporter for a London newspaper, and he's been given special permission to sit in on the cold case unit meetings. He can't be given access to the actual police reports on the case, but this case got a lot of coverage in the newspapers back when it happened. One paper has been doing an annual update on the case, as well, which means Jeremy will have nearly as much information as the actual members of the unit.
That's partly due to the fact that the police files don't give the unit a lot of information from which to work. Brent Newton got into his car one morning and drove away, presumably heading for his office. He never arrived and was never seen again.
Meanwhile, Jasper Coventry, the manager at the Seaview, is worried about another missing person. Adam Meyer checked in but hasn't been staying in his room. Adam's friends aren't concerned, but Jasper finds the entire situation worrying.
Bessie and her friends are going to have to work twice as hard to find two missing people. But as the investigation continues, it seems increasingly unlikely that they are going to get two happy endings.
