Gunhild's quest leads her to meet all the famous gods she's heard about in school, like Odin and Thor, though the one she's most interested in is the mischievous Jotun god Loki, who's chained up in a cave hidden in a location known only by the gods.

Gunhild and Liv finally find the god Loki, who has been imprisoned for hundreds of years. He could help Gunhild become a god, but what's in it for him? His ambition for a Ragnarok seems dangerous, but Gunhild is desperate. Will she agree to his terms?

The three journey to Asgard but encounter a mountain troll along the way. Gunhild must prove her strength against him, and Odin comes to help. With Odin here, Gunhild hopes he will help her become a god--but Odin is more interested in making Loki pay for his mistakes.
