The New Afrikan Blueprints

It is imperative that we as a People/Community take responsibility for the conditions of our communities. We can no longer depend on a government that has for over 400 years shown an indifference towards our capacity to be truly free and self-sufficient.

Our new book, The New Afrikan Blueprints: Establishing Our Communities Independent of the Government contains blue-prints we developed over the years that contribute to our collective effort to become more self-sufficient and better equipped to govern ourselves.

Author Abdul Olugbala Shakur served 32 plus years in solitary confinement and author Joka Heshima Jinsai served 20 years in solitary confinement. While the two men endured inhumane brutalities throughout these decades, in a place meant to break their minds, spirits, and connections to family and the outside world, they found their freedom through the very mechanisms their keepers sought to destroy - the power of their words and work.
