"The Museum of Kitschy Stitches" is a full-color showcase of the hideous and shocking (and all too real!) knitting and crocheting horrors from eras gone by. Museum "curator" Stitchy McYarnpants (a.k.a. Debbie Brisson) has trolled knitting patterns, advertisements, and catalogs for the most groan-inspiring crimes against hand-crafted fashion ever to assault the senses: sci-fi inspired headgear from the 1940s, gender-bending sweater sets from the '60s, and groovy outerwear from the '70s. Each photograph is accompanied by McYarnpants's trademark snark: witty, intelligent, side-splitting captions that guide you through this strange and wonderful world. In the very best tradition of "The Gallery of Regrettable Food and Interior Desecrations", "The Museum of Kitschy Stitches" will have crafters and noncrafters alike ...in stitches.
