The Lion, The Hawk and The Dove

This group of poems was written in Panama, Bolivia, Vietnam, and the States between 1964 and 1977. They reflect my experiences in those places, times and my feelings about the events. Many of my contemporaries suggested I was not in the places I had claimed to be. Here, over 30 years later I have the same problems. I was in many units over the 11 years I served. Primarily I was with the 6th, 10th and 5th Special Forces. My last solid tour of duty was in 1971-2 with C Company 2/5 Cav. of the 1st Cavalry Division in Viet Nam. But, I traveled wherever my country said I was needed. After I ended my military service I aid in some investigations in Canada while attending school in Vancouver and Montreal.
