The King of Hearts

Las Vegas is the setting for The King of Hearts, a tale of crime, revenge, blackmail, poker and banana daiquiris. Our clever but slightly eccentric heroine, Lexie Storm, is playing Texas Hold'em poker against the best, and the stakes are high in more ways than one. She must wrangle an assortment of otherworldly characters - some are funny and nice, such as Ben who she summons by drinking a banana daiquiri. Others are rather less obliging; this frustrates Lexie's mission to solve a crime and bring the real perpetrators to justice. Blackmail is the key, and it seems our Lexie is rather creative in this regard. Also, she must battle to win the heart of fellow cardsharp, the charismatic Daniel 'King' Sorrento, against fierce competition ... and she has a poker tournament to win.
