The Journey

"The Journey" narrates the rich tapestry of the author's life, beginning with her immigration from Europe to Canada at the tender age of five, alongside her mother, to reunite with her father. By the age of 20, she marries a WWII veteran, embarks on the challenges and joys of parenthood, and pursues higher education, eventually founding York Counselling Services and contributing significantly to the Ministry of Correctional Services. Later chapters explore the author and her husband's philanthropic endeavors in third-world countries, enhancing healthcare through CESO, and the Rotary Club Intl.

The story culminates with the author facing the loss of her husband, yet finding solace and companionship with a friend in similar circumstances, together finding joy in gardening, writing, and poetry, underlining the book's message of resilience, humanitarian service, and the perpetual journey of self-discovery and growth.
