The Journey: Journey To The Mountain of God

Ogdon Gauthier Adamson was a good man. He had a lovely family, a thriving business and he loved Jesus. Throughout his life, Ogdon often thought about heaven, until one day, he actually went there. This imaginative story details what he saw and experienced.

No one knows exactly what will happen when they pass from this world to the next. The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" and even though that sounds wonderful, we still don't know what it will be like.

The Journey is an anagram parable...a story in which the names of all of the characters reveal something else about the character when the letters are rearranged, (Like the word "cinema" spells "iceman.")

While this book is only an imaginative depiction of what one person experiences when he passes from earth to heaven, there will be theological statements in this narrative. They are the result of speculation and personal interpretation of Scripture and creative thought that combine here to give a glimpse into a fanciful trip to Paradise.

The Bible is clear, "But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, "

What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]."
