The House that Tithing Built

Out of the ashes of civil war in Burundi came a child who gave his heart and mind to the Lord and found his home in the church. Euphraim learned early on-as did Jacob at Bethel (which means "house of God")-that building the house of the Lord is a lifelong journey of obedience and stewardship.

The house that tithing built in the cover photo is not just a brick building with a metal roof and a cement floor where people within walking distance can worship. This place and its people are part of the vastly bigger house of the Lord that is the worldwide church.

Euphraim and his congregation built this particular house with no outside help thanks to teachings on tithing based on his masters thesis in practical theology at Hope Africa University. With this book Euphraim now explains to the whole church the value and methods of tithing throughout history.
