"You can't make this stuff up," story begins at LAX where Dad rents a big red Cadillac and entices two homeless gentlemen to ride with him to Dallas, promising them jobs with the H Ross Perot Presidential Campaign. Once returning to California, he lived on the streets of LA for two months because he wanted to. The true story concludes with his adventures as President of his neighborhood watch in Amarillo. Sprinkled in are some observations about the challenges and changes associated with his bipolar onset in later years. Oh then there was that little thing about wanting to fly a military jet over a courthouse while on probation for threatening to bomb it a year earlier.
