His hometown never wanted him. He's going to protect it anyway.

Jordan Rinesmith has been gone for ten years. When he comes home broke and hopeless, he finds his hometown of Grouse Creek is still the same as ever. Tired, rundown, past its prime. The local Orthodox church is open. That's the only real change. Jordan finds there's still no place for him. There never was.

But when he learns of a threat to the town, Jordan sets out to stop it. Because tired old Grouse Creek doesn't deserve trouble. To save the town, Jordan will need to work with its people and learn to lean on God. Saving Grouse Creek just may become Jordan's own salvation...
