The Holy Spirit and His Anointing

When Jesus lived on earth, God the Father sent His Spirit to work in Him. Christ also sent the Holy Spirit to His disciples after He ascended to the Father in heaven. He sent the Holy Spirit to them so that the Father can work through them. The Holy Spirit is God in action. Jesus Christ Himself said, in Acts 1:8, "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." It seems that Jesus was saying, a Christians lack power to do anything without the Holy Spirit and His anointing. The Holy Spirit anoints every believer called out one] with the priestly and kingly anointing. Priestly, to minister to God; Kingly, to reign on earth. As kings rule by decree, we have the anointing to rule on the earth by decrees. In areas God has given us authority; within the boundaries of the room God has created for us. We are destined to rule by the anointing in every area of our lives. That means we are to be and exercise dominion in our businesses, in places we have interests, in our family lives, and in our areas of operation on earth.
