It's a question I've asked myself far too many times lately. Not because I want power, but because everyone else seems to.

The threat of the Claiming is looming, and too many pieces are moving on the chess board for me to track. All I know is they're closing in around me, and none of my choices are good.

As the Guardian, it's my job to protect the magic. But when the Order threaten the people I love to bend me to their will, I'm faced with an impossible decision.
