The Green Guide to Horrors

In the racially charged 1950s, Elijah "Eli" Freeman, a Black WWII veteran, sets out with his wife Lorraine and teenage son Marcus on a journey along Route 66, guided by The Negro Motorist Green Book. Their goal is simple: to navigate the perils of traveling while Black in Jim Crow America. But as they embark on their journey, they find themselves on a twisted version of the iconic highway, where the dangers lurking in the shadows are far more sinister than racism.

Ghostly hitchhikers, haunted rest stops, and monstrous hosts plague their path, each test pushing the family to their limits. As the road begins to unravel their deepest fears and darkest secrets, the Freemans discover that the Green Book is not just a guide but a lifeline-one filled with cryptic warnings and supernatural instructions.

The family must confront spectral towns, wailing spirits, and shadowy figures known as The Watchers-trapped souls of those who failed the road before them. With each mile, the stakes rise, culminating in a harrowing showdown where Eli must make an impossible choice: sacrifice himself to save his family or risk all their lives to defy the road's unyielding demands.
