The Grass is Always Greener in California

A few years after the end of Afropean, Laetitia and St phane are still very much in love despite the distance that separates them. Laetitia is determined to build her life with him even though their relationship is not always viewed favorably because she is black and he is white. Far from the South of France, Laetitia has blended in with the crowd of American students and has almost forgotten her desire to change the world. But when St phane does something irredeemable and Robert, her eternal American suitor, is more than insistent, the young woman's life, until then predictable and orderly, is turned upside down.
