The Gospel According to Aunt Mildred

Stories are the stuff of life -- they entertain us, inspire us, teach us, and shape us. This is a book of stories and we think they're good ones Delmer Chilton writes the way he speaks, in the Appalachian drawl that has mesmerized generations of mountain children and their elders. To say that his voice is unique does not do it justice. Whatever else "The Gospel According to Aunt Mildred" is, it is an offering from the heart of a keen observer and a man who has both marveled at and occasionally been stumped by life.
