THE GIRLFRIEND

The Girlfriend is all about Daniel, his mother Laura, his girlfriend Cherry and their relationships with each other. Laura is a businesswoman, she has a rich husband and a handsome son; she is also a very possessive mother so when Cherry comes on the scene she does not want her to squeeze in on her time with Daniel. The son doesn't realise that Cherry is a gold digger. His mother sees through the girlfriend from the beginning & the conflict begins. Laura's husband and her best friend think she is possessive where her son is concerned, & is not happy with the fact that, he has another woman in his life. Cherry, on the other hand, has decided that she will have the life Laura has, albeit through Daniel rather than working for it. She therefore goes all out to drive a wedge between Laura and Daniel, with some of her tricks. Laura makes a bad mistake half way through the book that sets the scene for the rest of the book.
