The Fury of a Patient Man

Gary Dunne is a survivor, though he wonders what he's living for after a battle that left his brother and a best friend dead and ended a love affair he thought might last a lifetime. But the world keeps turning. Though he finds himself unemployed and abandoned in 1970's Ireland, he picks up the pieces, taking opportunities to make a few pounds. Spinning records for a friend who owns a mobile disco and running a detective agency supplement his unemployment benefit. When another friend offers him a job as security on a Leeson Street night club, his love life takes off and the chance to avenge his brother presents itself. With the help of ladies of the night from the nearby red light district, things come together, but nothing is ever as it seems.
