It was developed from a pastors perspective, to develop the new believers into disciples of Christ, understanding from the very beginning who they are in Christ and what is needful to live a victorious life in Christ.

 

After being involved in mass miracle crusades in India since 1979, Howard saw on subsequent visits the shortage of follow through foundational teaching to establish the believers and went about providing training to Indian leaders, over the years of continually preaching in crusades and training leaders he also came to understand that this problem is widespread throughout the world, a lack of sufficiently strong follow through to establish new converts as disciples. It was during his own pastoring and attempting to rectify this problem that he realised there was a great a shortage of material on the open market that adequately dealt with this from an evangelical/ pentecostal position of strength, and so set about writing the material to use in his own church. This material has been used for many years in establishing new Christians and has been increased and refined over the years to provide this powerful yet succinct book you have today.
