When Redwood's sentries found a child alone in the woods, they could not foresee the implications of their discovery. Redwood's council did not understand who the child was. However, they soon found out. Nightmares and monsters dictated her life, and only two could calm her down when panicked: Her guardian, and T'Karra Mein. Kiera grew to overcome the nightmares of her past and was on her way to a new life. However, her nightmares had other ideas, ideas even her friend T'Karra could not help her through. T'Karra Mein had grown up as well. He had found himself with a new career, one that would bring him to face those nightmares first hand. What can he do when the past returns to haunt not only his friend, but threatens his home? How will Kiera fight for her new fear free life? What can a nation do, when the monsters of a haunted child return to finish their work?The warriors of Redwood must dig deep to hold their own against a force they cannot comprehend, even after the loss of their own. They know they cannot lose, for their failure would bring doom to the entire nation. How can they survive?
