The Divine Curriculum

This book, The Divine Curriculum: The Báb, Part 2, is the second of two books on the Báb in the Divine Curriculum series of books.

These books examine the life and teachings of the Báb ("the Gate"). The story begins in 1844, in Persia, when the Báb, a merchant in the Persian city of Shíráz, shocks the nation with a new Revelation from God.

The Báb was an Independent Manifestation of God, a Divine Educator in His own right.

He was also the Forerunner of Bahá'u'lláh, the Founder of the Bahá'í Faith, a religion that has grown from a small Movement in the 19th century into a major world religion with eight million followers residing in 234 countries.

The Báb's role is so important that, in fact, He is considered a Co-Founder of the Bahá'í Faith.

His teachings were remarkably modern: The spiritual perception of reality. "All things" are reflections of God. The oneness and infinity of God. The unity of His Messengers. Searching for truth. Bringing joy not grief to others. Avoiding intolerance. Keeping the environment pure. Advancement of women. And, of course, the coming of Bahá'u'lláh!
