A morphing of Ambrose Bierce's The Devil's Dictionary with The Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church, this book takes a satirical look at the contemporary church scene. It intends to help the church look at itself from a new, satirical perspective and see how the world views the traditions of the church, both old and new. The Christian reader should see a need for change of perspective, programs, and identity and find reason to act on the need for change. Each dictionary entry will make the reader laugh as well as think.
