The Damned Treasure

Immediately following the deadly events in 2022's Ease the Pain, freshly winged Mercy made a wish to see her man, Captain Jack Nelson again, never suspecting that she would be thrown 200 years back in time to conduct her search from a pirate ship full of magical beings! Mercy becomes an unlikely ally in the pirates' search for the treasure of the legendary City of Gold, El Dorado! Accepting her into their adventure are a time-traveling pirate (and her former boss) Captain Slicer, an immortal Viking named Njord, Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, and many others.

All have wishes of a better life, but in true Hek fashion, nothing is easy when dealing with the wish-granting Hek! This adventure is fraught with danger from blood-thirsty Parisian mobs, sadistic guards, the world-killing Norse legend Jörmungandr, ravenous werewolves, and demonic harpies at every turn. Luckily, the crew of pirates are soon assisted by Queen Marie Antoinette, Morgan le Fay, vampire Vincent Morávek, future powerhouse Laetitia Janequin, and a host of others as they traverse Paris, Australia, Ilha Grande, El Dorado, and an island of imprisoned goddesses in their pursuit of a damned treasure!
