The criminal justice system in the U.S. isn't perfect. This is the story of a man who was wrongly accused of murder and spent twenty-six years - ten of them on Death Row - for a heinous crime he didn't commit. Through the efforts of others who believed in him, he was released and, through this book, is spreading awareness about the injustices of the legal system.

This book is the story of a psychotherapist who fell in love with a Death Row inmate who she had met through a newspaper article and the strong urging of God to write to him. It tells about their relationship, some of the problems they had while he was in prison, and how the system helped and failed him.
