The Crab Shell Story

Patricia Masuda-Story, Psy.D., QME, is a licensed clinical psychologist in California and Colorado. She created this story as a fun way to juxtapose behavior with nature. This story has been used multiple times in her private practice. Her patients, associates, and friends have asked her to publish this story, and now it is finally available in print. The Crab Shell Story is designed to help individuals understand certain aspects of human social behavior. Issues involving closure, transference, and conscious motivation are depicted in this book about a little hermit crab who desperately needed closure, the behaviors with which he tried to gain closure, and the lessons the crab taught a human.
