The Colony

Scotland 1698. A nation on its knees, crippled by famine, poverty and economic ruin. Desperate to reverse their fortunes, the Scots embark on an audacious plan to establish a colony on the untamed shores of the Darien Peninsula.

Jamie Buchanan, a criminal lawyer fleeing Glasgow's underworld, reluctantly finds himself aboard the fleet of ships bound for Panama, alongside nine hundred other souls chasing the promise of a new beginning.
