Living in Hebron with David's army, Benaiah takes the opportunity to visit the nearby tomb of his ancestors-Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob and Leah. Is he really allowed to go in there? Inside, next to the remains of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, Benaiah asks God a question. Does He really answer Benaiah?



In spite of civil war, international and domestic intrigue, enemy giants, and other opposition, Benaiah attempts to discern what the LORD's answer, given inside the tomb, means. Personally, Benaiah faces demands that he enter the priesthood, while questions of his fitness for leadership bring further complications.
