Jeg elskede den her bog! Ishiguro skriver helt fantastisk, og The Buried Giant er utrolig smuk og dyb. Historien bliver gradvist større og større, da hele præmissen er at der er en 'tåge' der får personerne til at glemme deres fortid. Ægteparret, Axl og Beatrice, drager ud på en rejse for at finde tilbage til noget fra deres fortid, uden helt at vide hvad det er. På vejen møder de riddere, væsener og besøger landsbyer og husker gradvist mere og mere. En smuk historie om kærlighed mellem ægtefæller. Kan varmt anbefales! Jeg skal i hvert fald snart læse mere Ishiguro.
