,COHEN DARCY leaned over and blew the dust off the top of a book that had mysteriously appeared beside his bed. The dust flowed into the air like a wave turning over on itself, leaving the worn, brown leather cover naked to the eye. It was there he saw an embossing. The words were unknown to him-Mutato Nomine De Te Fabula Narratur.

Cohen stepped out into the new day. A new rainy day. A new day of unwelcome events. It had started with the arrival of the mysterious book, then came the seduction, the unlawful act of the CAI stealing his work, and the promise that his existence would never be the same...

'Mr. Darcy, our security data has shown that you have drawn a design that is of great significance to us. It has the potential to revolutionize communications. It is the eye piece that is

implantable we seek.'

My mind went into an electrostatic buzz-not the drawing of the eye implant that allows internal visualization and was a thought scanner mind-reading device. It was imperfect. It was also science fiction, meant for imaginative purposes only. 'Sir, the implant is not real. I was fooling around with my imaginative juices to create a state of subliminal awareness to

locate the missing piece of the seventh key to the seventh communication sense,' I explained with a composed voice while my mind was in a panic.

'That would be the one that we seek, Mr. Darcy.'

That night, when Darcy opened the mysterious book, he found the owner. It belonged to GEORGIA HARRISON. Now his day was about to get even worse. He needed to meet her to get rid of the book! He doesn't do books-or relationships. As simple as that.

All he knew was that he had to play the game but play it better. Could he do a system restore of his life to an earlier time and bypass the events of today? If the CAI got hold of his design, the world would fall.
