Beskrivelse

After the tragedies that occurred on Talandria, The Talandrian Council declared Candy dead, sealed her file, and transferred her to The Battlecruiser Talandric to safeguard her life. In order to accomplish this, certain concessions had to be made. They can only hope that one of these concessions doesn't lead to her death because, according to Bahlian Prophecy, she is the only hope The Consortium has for saving The Sons of Caldon. It's just another chapter of Candy's life beginning again. She was looking forward to seeing her husband, Zac, but she dreaded having to tell him about the deaths of their friends and the cause of those deaths. How was Zac going to take the news? Would it cause their marriage to end? Did she really care if the marriage ended? Maybe her brother was right: all she was ever good at was being a soldier. She was a soldier. Soldiers fought wars, and wars were no places for a marriage or a personal relationship. Personal relationships were a distraction and distractions killed. Still recovering physically and emotionally from the tragedies that occurred on Talandria, she obeys her orders and sets out on flight path to The Battlecruiser Talandric, just as any good soldier would do. What would happen there? Did she even give a damn about what would happen? There is a saying that "war is hell". Given what she's lived through these past few months since arriving in The Consortium, she would rather be living in a war zone because she knew what to expect there. War was easy; life and living were pure hell.
