As an adult, her passion for storytelling merged in her award winning projects that share the Fireburn labor revolt of 1878. The Fireburn is an important, yet not widely known, part of African Diaspora, Danish, Caribbean, and US history. Part of Angela's mission is to share more about the rich heritage of the Virgin Islands beyond its beautiful beaches.
