Beskrivelse
Continuing the story begun in Book One, The Secret Citadel, a young physics student named Matt Dawson from our world finds himself transported across the dimensions by a lab accident. He lands on a world much like our own, but it's 1967 and costumed super-heroes with incredible powers exist there. He even has a few powers of his own due to the altered physical laws in a different universe. Astroman, the greatest hero of all, has disappeared and Matt is enlisted to help find out what happened to him. The search takes Matt to Astroman's private redoubt, the Secret Citadel, where he meets Astrogirl instead. They join forces, and in a quest for a super-weapon to fight the growing menace of a renegade master scientist, Book Two opens with Matt and Astrogirl journeying through time and space to the doomed planet of Helionn. Then, back on Earth, it's all-out war as the Friends of Astroman take on the archvillain of the ages. For Matt, the way back home is a long one with a few detours, but after meeting Astrogirl, will he even want to go back home? Years in the making, this volume wraps it all up.
