The Arms That Held

Grieft is hard. Depression, suicide, and mental health are hard topics to grabble with. This collection of poetry doesn't shy away from them; it addresses them head-on and unapologetically. This book takes the reader on one young person's journey through the grief and pain of losing a parent to suicide. The book is organized into three chapters, each describing a different stage of the author's grief journey. It begins with a chapter addressing the shock and pain of early grief, and ends with a chapter devoted to the longer-term resolution that comes with time.
