Crusty is a crab that lives in Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. He has many friends, including a little boy named Zachary who lives in nearby North Beach, which is San Francisco's Italian district. One day Crusty sets out for North Beach to find his friend Zachary. Crusty's adventure starts out with a cable car ride into North Beach and then a journey through the exciting and busy North Beach neighborhood. Crusty stumbles upon the best Italian restaurant in all of San Francisco and eventually with the help of the resturants friendly owner he finds Zachary. Originally written as a token of appreciation to a restaurant owner, The Adventures of Crusty the Crab, has quickly become a highly sought after children's title throughout San Francisco. Children of all ages will enjoy this heartfelt adventure.
