Standing on the front curb looking up at the house I had built with him, felt extremely overwhelming. What was built for my family and was once a home of love and happy times, had now turned into a wreckage. In a span of fifteen years. The once beautiful home now had boarded windows, a broken front door and the grass reached my knees.Staring at the house reminded me of the dreams I had for my family as well as all the difficult and traumatizing events that came after. Unaware of what to do next with my new acquired house, I never felt more alive and scared at the same time. Should I take the house back?
